Menu selection varies by a printer model.
For touchscreen models press the icon directly on the printer’s screen.
For non-touchscreen models use the arrow keys to select items. Then press OK.
Make sure the printer is powered on and ready to use.

Go to the printer and enter the Wi-Fi setup menu by following one of the methods below depending on your printer.

Enter the Wi-Fi Direct setup menu by following one of the methods below depending on your printer.
Select Wi-Fi Direct Routerless Setup/ Wi-Fi Direct Setup.
Select Wi-Fi Direct Routerless Setup/ Wi-Fi Direct Setup, and then Connection Setup.
Follow the instructions on the printer's screen, and then press Proceed or OK.
Check the SSID displayed on the printer's screen.
If it is not displayed, press OK or , and then search for and select the SSID with your computer.

Enter the displayed password into the Wi-Fi settings of your computer. If it is not displayed on the printer's screen, press .
