To install the software from the CD, the computer hard disk must have 200 MB available space.

Windows installation when using a USB cable:
|
Connect the USB cable to the computer and the product. |
|
Follow the on-screen instructions through the Directly connect this computer to a USB cable path. |
Note: If the installation program does not start automatically, the AutoPlay feature might be disabled on the computer. If this happens click on the Windows Start button and select Computer (or My Computer), then double click on the HP device. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Windows installation for networked printers (wired or wireless):
Insert the CD into the computer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: If you are using a wired network, connect the network cable before inserting the CD.
Installation for Mac OS X (USB or network):
Insert the CD into the computer and follow the on-screen instructions.

From the Start menu, select All Programs, and then click HP. If you have more than one HP product choose the specific product and then click Uninstall from the program group. |
|
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the software uninstall. |
